The 2023 World Championships Yokohama Deck: Pikachu was released in anticipation of the 2023 World Championships, which would be held in Yokohama from August 11 to 13, 2023, the first time the World Championships were held in Japan. It featured the Pikachu ex that was originally released in the ex Starter Set Pikachu ex & Pawmot deck with alternative special illustration artwork depicting Pikachu battling against a Koraidon and Miraidon in a tournament embossed with a 2023 World Championships stamp.
The Deck also included an aluminum deck tin, a yellow Pikachu Pokémon World Championships 2023 coin, 64 World Championship-themed card sleeves, and a cardboard damage and status marker sheet.
